Buy cheap HP ink cartridges at Eurotone

The American label HP, known as the Hewlett-Packard Company until 2015, was one of the first brand manufacturers to offer thermal inkjet printers for private users.

These were offered alongside HP personal computers as early as the 1980s. Numerous models have been developed over the years that are impressive in terms of both appearance and performance.

If you need new printer cartridges for your HP inkjet printer, you can buy them cheaply here at Eurotone. You can get genuine HP and compatible ink cartridges.

To avoid possible print failures due to a lack of printer ink, you should get a small supply in good time. We have a large selection of printer cartridges for you.

How does the HP printer cartridge differ from other manufacturers?

The HP printer cartridges are available in different designs. These are provided with high-quality pigment ink, which ensures a brilliant color expression. The ink cartridges available here for HP printers are precisely matched to the respective printer model. With special additives, the inks not only support the print quality, but also the printing speed. The flowability at the ink outlet is therefore adapted to the respective purpose of your HP inkjet printer.

HP has been calling its printing inks Vivera colors since 2004. This can be either dye or pigment inks. It is interesting that the high-quality pigment inks have been polymer encapsulated since 2006 and can produce a very dark black. It is also possible to create all gray tones without adding any other pigment colors. These inks were developed for the CcMmYKLk color system.

The other dye inks from HP correspond to the CMY color system, which are additionally supplemented with special photo inks and gray inks. The HP inkjet printers use relatively flat nozzle elements. These consist of two plates. On the side facing the paper, there are tiny holes in the plate. Opposite this hole the actual vapor bubble develops, so that these printers are also referred to as side shooters.

Printers using this printing method can be manufactured relatively inexpensively. However, the overall life of the printheads is shorter. For this reason, HP uses specialty printer cartridges that contain the printhead or print nozzles in a wide variety of inkjet printers. The more detailed structure will be discussed later.

Regardless of this, all color tones of the color wheel can be reproduced with the tried and tested printing inks.
Traditional inks include:

  • Black
  • Cyan
  • Magenta
  • Yellow

By mixing the color pigments, excellent color and photo printouts can be created on appropriate carrier materials. The pure photo printers in particular use additional printing inks so that an even larger color space can be covered.

Here at Eurotoner you can buy first-class printer cartridges that are 100% matched to your printer. In addition to the original containers, we would like to point out the compatible models that do not have to hide in terms of print volume and print quality.

It should be emphasized that you can print significantly cheaper with compatible printer cartridges and thus have an even better overview of your printing costs. With our compatible inks you don't take any chances. Your HP inkjet printer is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty. In addition, we give you a guarantee of up to 2 years on our ink cartridges. However, should problems arise, you benefit from a 14-day right of return.

In addition to the standard ink cartridges, you will also find so-called XL cartridges, which are equipped with more pigment ink. If you have to print frequently, you can achieve even greater print range.

Who is behind HP

The American HP Inc. is one of the world's largest PC and printer manufacturers. The company was founded in 1939 by William Bill Hewlett and David Packard in a garage in Palo Alto in famous Silicon Valley. An audio frequency generator was originally created using the HP200A model. The first pocket calculators were developed in the 1970s. In early 1980, HP built its first personal computer.

It is interesting that the company operated under the name Hewlett Packard Company until November 2015. In 1984 the first thermal inkjet printer was launched. It was the HP ThinkJet series. In 1987 the first color inkjet printer was introduced with the HP PaintJet and in 1990 with the legendary HP DeskJet 500 the first mass-market color printer with a speed of 3 pages per minute. The print resolution was 300 dots. Today, a variety of innovative printer models are launched by HP.

The American manufacturer currently offers the following printer types:

  • Multifunction inkjet printer
  • High performance inkjet printer
  • Inkjet photo printer
  • Monochrome laser printer
  • Color laser printer
  • Multifunction laser printer
  • Professional printers for large businesses as well
  • Mobile printers with inkjet technology

How is an HP printer cartridge structured?

There are special printer cartridges for every HP inkjet printer. They consist of a robust plastic housing in which the ink tank is located. HP often uses sponges soaked in pigment ink. A pressure compensation system is located above such an ink cartridge. Air can then flow into the cartridge and ensure proper ink ejection.

Often there is still a chip on the front of an HP printer cartridge. The printer software can also read out the fill level and other data and output them via the printer software

HP uses a variety of printing techniques. There are conventional ink cartridges that are carried piggyback on a printhead. With large format printers, the individual cartridges are inserted into separate slots. There are also HP printer cartridges with a single-use print head. These can be found in particular in inkjet printers for the home or home office. On the side, instead of a chip, there is a conductor track with contacts that are connected to the printhead bracket. The print data is then sent to the print head.

The printer cartridges with a single-use printhead are usually a little more expensive than the models without a printhead. They always offer the best print quality after every replacement. There is no need to fear wear and tear on the print nozzles of a permanently installed print head.

The so-called tricolor cartridges are another special feature of the structure of an HP printer cartridge. Here, too, it is initially an ink cartridge with an integrated print head. However, the three basic colors cyan, magenta and yellow are contained in a cartridge housing. Each printing ink is in a soaked sponge. Each chamber is separated from one another by a narrow plastic plate. Inadvertent mixing of the three basic colors is not possible.

Here at Eurotone you get high quality, compatible printer cartridges for your HP printer that don't have to hide behind the originals. You can choose both the individual cartridges and the combined color cartridges with three colors in one housing. Here you can also order cartridges with an integrated print head. Since the original ink cartridges from HP in particular cost a little more, you can save a lot of money with our compatible printer cartridges.

Black printer cartridges for HP inkjet printers

The black ink cartridge is one of the most important printing colors. This is mainly needed for document printing. As is well known, the standard ink cartridges only achieve a relatively limited printing range. You can now also find XL cartridges and even printer cartridges that can easily keep up with a laser printer and the toner cartridges it contains.

Here at Eurotoner you will find 100% precisely fitting black ink cartridges for your HP inkjet printer. These are also used for HP multifunction inkjet printers. The black pigment ink achieves excellent black values and, in conjunction with a modern HP printer, ensures a high print resolution.

Depending on the printer and cartridge model, you can choose from the following pressure ranges:

  • Yield: 250 printed pages
  • Yield: 400 printed pages
  • Yield: 500 printed pages
  • Yield: 3.500 printed pages
  • Yield: 6.000 printed pages
  • Yield: 10.000 printed pages

The HP short-range printer cartridges consist of a relatively flat body. Here, too, there are of course the combination cartridges with an integrated print head.

You can print much more efficiently with the modern office printers of the HP PageWide and OfficeJet PRO series. Print areas of up to 10.000 pages are easily possible here. In this case, the black ink cartridges consist of a narrow, elongated bar that can hold the desired amount of ink. These cartridges are ideal for printing and copying. As a result, many companies are also using these inkjet printers as an alternative to a laser printer.

Printer cartridges for HP color inkjet printers

Nowadays there are hardly any pure black and white inkjet printers available. In addition to the black ink cartridge, these printers also need the cartridges for the cyan, magenta and yellow printing inks. While some black cartridges are a bit wider, the color ink tanks are usually built narrower.

There are not only HP color ink cartridges in the above-mentioned printing colors, but also special colors. These are mainly required for photo printers such as the HP PhotoSmart series. Further shades are a light gray or a special photo black. The XL ink tanks of the HP PageWide and OfficeJet PRO series are interesting again. These are again the rod-shaped, slim ink tanks with a print range of up to 7.000 pages each. With these office inkjet printers, you can choose between 3.000-page and 7.000-page cartridges. Please note that the price per page is reduced accordingly with a higher filling quantity.

In addition, there are the HP tricolor ink cartridges, which contain the three basic colors cyan, magenta and yellow in one housing. These cartridges for HP printers are slightly wider. In each chamber there is a sponge that is impregnated with the respective printing ink. In many cases, these cartridges also have a built-in printhead. This always ensures the best possible print quality.

It should be noted, however, that a multi-color ink cartridge must be replaced when only one of the printing colors is used up. If the integrated cyan and yellow containers are still half full, the cartridge must be replaced when the magenta runs out. However, the high print result makes up for this small drawback.

Here at Eurotone you can buy both original HP color cartridges and compatible printer cartridges. The latter ensure low consumption costs and do not have to hide behind the originals.

Most HP color ink cartridges sit directly on the printhead or the printhead holder. Only the already mentioned XL ink tanks of the HP PageWide and OfficeJet PRO series require a separate slot, which is located on the front of the respective printer model. If you are unsure whether an HP print cartridge will fit your printer, refer to the user's guide.

Some HP inkjet printers even do without the black HP printer cartridge. In this case, a black is mixed from the three basic colors cyan, magenta and yellow. Unfortunately, such a color mixture does not achieve an absolutely high black level. The resulting black usually looks a little grayish or brownish. Just like the black HP ink cartridges, the multifunction color inkjet printers also need the three basic colors. These printers are designed to not only print, but also to photocopy, scan and fax through the flatbed scanner at the top.

Expiration date of HP printer cartridges

The HP printer cartridges have an expiration date. If the containers are hermetically sealed, the printer cartridges can be stored for a long time. In this case, you should choose a cool and dark place. Basically, the ink can dry out if it comes into contact with air. In this case, the printer cartridge can no longer be used. Dried ink can also damage the printhead. As a general rule, your HP ink cartridges should be used and used before their expiration date. It is possible to temporarily remove a specific ink from the printhead. Seal the removed ink cartridge with an airtight foil pouch (e.g. freezer bag) and set it aside in a dry and cool place. However, from time to time you should insert the ink cartridge and at least perform a test print to prevent the ink from drying out.

What to do with empty HP printer cartridges

As with HP toner cartridges, environmental protection also plays an important role at HP. The HP Planet Partners recycling program was created for this purpose. You can hand in your empty HP printer cartridges free of charge at the designated HP collection points. There are large collection boxes for corporate customers that can be picked up as required.

Almost all of the empty HP printer cartridges are recyclable. Either new products are made from the plastics or the empty ink tanks are refilled with refill ink. Incidentally, HP has now also taken over the printer division from Samsung, so that Samsung consumables can also be recycled through HP Planet Partners. You can also drop off empty HP ink cartridges at local stores or at the recycling center. These forward the printer cartridges so that proper disposal is guaranteed.
