Refill toner (instructions) HP Q2624A, 24A compatible with HP Laserjet 1150

HP Laserjet 1150, compatible with Q2624A, 24A refill instructions

Insert the HP Laserjet toner cartridge 1150 like in the picture in front of you. Melt a 10mm hole in the cartridge at the marked point with the help of a soldering iron. Fill the refill toner into this hole using a funnel. Seal the hole with a piece of tissue tape. The cartridge is now full.

With this toner cartridge, a chip change is necessary after filling. To do this, pry the old chip off the toner cartridge and stick the new one in the same place. Please pay attention to the exact alignment of the new chip.

If you want to fill your cartridge the second time, you should empty the waste toner container (make sure you wear gloves and a mask when filling). To do this, first pry down the chip and then melt a hole at the point marked below. Put the toner cartridge in a trash bag. Now turn the cartridge so that the residual toner can flow out of the cartridge. The waste toner cannot be reused. Seal the hole with tissue tape and put the new chip on. The cartridge is now ready for use and can be inserted into the relevant device.

Safety advice for handling the refill toner HP Laser Jet 1150, compatible with Q2624A, 24A refill instructions

Refill toner and toner powder can be harmful to health if improperly handled. We expressly recommend the use of respiratory protection equipment or suction chambers when filling toner cartridges. In addition, toner powder and refill toner can be extremely flammable with an appropriate oxygen mixture. Also, be careful not to touch the photoconductor drum or expose it to direct sunlight. This can lead to incorrect printouts.
