Reset instructions for Brother DR 200 drum

The Brother DR-200 drum fits many Brother printers. The Brother DR-200 drum does not offer a way to manually reset the drum. The drum counter will be reset automatically after the new Brother DR-200 drum has been replaced and installed. The drum reset is done by a foil located inside the new Brother DR-200 drum or a compatible drum. This film is automatically ejected and resets the counter.

Instructions for a Brother DR-200 drum reset

The following instructions should be followed when replacing the drum and performing a Brother DR-200 drum reset on the printer.

• Without the foil, the Brother DR-200 drum cannot be reset properly
• Please do not remove the film from the drum
• Once the foil has been removed, it can be reinserted into the drum. Do this with care
• If the film is damaged or missing, please contact our service
• The new drum should be used together with a new toner

Brother DR-200 drum reset

The Brother DR-200 drum reset is performed automatically by a foil located in the original Brother drum or a compatible drum.

1. Insert the Brother DR-200 drum into the machine
2. The foil resets the Brother DR-200 drum
3. The film will be ejected automatically
4. This resets the counter and recognizes the new drum

The Brother DR-200 drum or compatible drum has successfully been auto-reset. This completes the drum reset.
