Your step-by-step guide on how to reset your Brother DR-2300

The Brother DR-2300 drum fits many Brother printers and can be reset in a few simple steps. The Brother DR-2300 Drum Reset restarts the drum detection in the printer and resets the drum counter.

The following instructions should be followed when performing a toner reset on the printer!

1. Turn on the printer
2. Open the front cover on the printer
3. Press and hold the GO button for 4 seconds
4. When all 4 LEDs on the printer light up, release the "GO" button
5. Close the front cover
6. The "DRUM" LED is no longer lit

7. Press Drum and then Yes
8. Press the "Home" button

7. Press the "Home" button

3. Press "X" to cancel drum error

5. Press the # symbol until the display changes
6. Press Drum
7. Press Yes
8. Now press the "Home" button

2. Open the front cover that hides the drum unit
3. Press "OK" for 2 seconds
4. The Replaced Drum? screen appears
