Reset Instructions for Brother TN 2000 Toner

Your step-by-step guide on how to reset your Brother TN-2000

The Brother TN-2000 toner fits into many Brother printer models and can be reset with no problems. The Brother TN-2000 Toner Reset restarts the toner detection and resets the page counter.

The following instructions should be followed when performing a toner reset on the printer!

For a manual toner reset for Brother MFC devices, please proceed exactly as follows

Instructions:
1. Switch on the device
2. Open the front flap on the device
3. Press the OPTION button
4. Press the star key * on the device
5. For Starter Toner, select the 1 button, then select the 0 button
6. For Standard Toner, select the 1 button, then press the 1 button
7. Close the front flap on the device

You have successfully reset the original or compatible Brother TN-2000 toner.

 

Brother TN-2000 Toner Reset for Brother HL devices

For a manual toner reset for Brother HL devices, please proceed exactly as follows:

Instructions:
1. Switch off the device at the power switch
2. Open the front flap on the device
3. Press and hold the GO button
4. Turn the power switch back on
5. Press and hold the GO button
6. Until the TONER / DRUM / PAPER LEDs light up
7. Release the GO button
8.Now press the GO button twice quickly (TONER / DRUM / PAPER lights up)
9. Now press the GO button 6 times quickly (for standard toner)
10. Close the front flap on the device

You have successfully reset the original or compatible Brother TN-2000 toner.

 

Brother TN-2000 Toner Reset for Brother DPC devices

For a manual toner reset for Brother DPC devices, please proceed exactly as follows

Instructions:
1. Turn on the Brother DCP machine
2. Open the front flap on the device
3. Now press the OPTION button
4. Immediately afterwards press the START button
5. Use the arrow keys to navigate through the ▼ ▲ menu
6. Select the "10" in the display for Starter Toner
7. Or select the "11" in the display for standard toner
8. Then immediately press Enter
9. Close the front flap on the device

Instructions:
1. Switch on the device
2. Open the front flap on the device
3. Press the OPTION button once
4. "Change drum 1.Yes 2.No" appears in the display 5. Do not make a selection here, but quickly press the star key *
6. For Starter Toner, select the 1 button, then select the 0 button
7. For Standard Toner, select the 1 button, then press the 1 button
