Your step-by-step guide on how to reset your Brother TN-3280

The Brother TN-3280 toner fits into many Brother printer models and can be reset with no problems. The Brother TN-3280 Toner Reset restarts the toner detection and resets the page counter.

Instructions:
1. Turn on the printer
2. Open the front door
3. Press CANCEL 1x
4. "Replace drum?" 1. YES 2. NO
5. If you don't select anything, go to the next step
6. Press the asterisk key "*"
7. Immediately press the 0 (zero) key twice
8. Close the front door

You have successfully reset the original or compatible Brother TN-3280 toner.

Brother TN-3280 Toner Reset for Brother MFC devices

For a manual toner reset for Brother MFC devices, please proceed exactly as follows

Instructions:
1. Turn on the printer
2. Open the front door
3. Press CANCEL 1x
4. "Replace drum?" 1. YES 2. NO
5. If you don't select anything, go to the next step
6. Press the asterisk key "*"
7. Immediately press the 0 (zero) key twice
8. Close the front door

You have successfully reset the original or compatible Brother TN-3280 toner.

Brother TN-3280 Toner Reset for Brother HL devices

For a manual toner reset for Brother HL devices, please proceed exactly as follows

Instructions:
1. Switch off the device
2. Open the front door
3. Press and hold the GO button
4. Turn the printer back on
5. All LEDs light up, only the status LED goes out
6. Release the GO button
7. Press the GO button twice in succession
8. Choose your toner:
9. Press the GO button 5 times for standard toner
10. Press the GO button 6 times for jumbo toner
11. Close the front flap again
