2. Open the front flap
3. Press CANCEL 1x
4. "Replace drum?" 1. YES 2. NO
5. If you don't select anything, go to the next step
6. Press the START button
7. Use the arrow keys ▼ ▲ until “00” appears
8. Now quickly press OK
9. Close the front door

For a manual toner reset for Brother HL devices, please proceed exactly as follows

1. Turn off your device
2. Open the front flap
3. Press and hold the GO button
4. Turn the printer back on
5. Press and hold the GO button
6. The TONER / DRUM / ERROR LEDs light up
7. Release the GO button
8. The LED lights are off
9. Press the GO button twice quickly
10. The TONER / DRUM / ERROR LEDs light up again
11. Now select your toner:
12. Press the GO button 6 times for Standard Toner
13. Press the GO button 7 times for jumbo toner
14. Close the front door
